Monique Jones

A Passionate Dance Educator and Choreographer Born and raised in Los Angeles, Monique Jones is the youngest of four siblings and the middle child of three; a dynamic upbringing that shaped her creativity and drive. Monique discovered her love for dance at the tender age of four, ministering as a praise dancer at Greater Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. For a decade, she brought joy and inspiration to the congregation until the ministry disbanded when she was 14.

Monique’s passion for dance led her to join Tajellet Dance Company, where she honed her craft under the exceptional direction of Porsche Norman until she aged out at 18. Eager to share her love of movement, Monique began volunteering her time teaching dance at various schools and dance companies. Her dedication to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of dancers has remained a cornerstone of her journey.

Since the age of 15, Monique has been a dedicated member of the California Worship Center, where she continues to dance and teach, bringing her passion and artistry to life. With a deep love for choreography, she thrives on creating meaningful pieces that resonate with both performers and audiences alike.

Currently pursuing her studies in dance and marketing at a community college, Monique remains committed to expanding her expertise and sharing her passion. Her ultimate joy lies in teaching dance and working with kids, inspiring them to express themselves through movement and discover the transformative power of dance.
